Tourism Promotion Board urges the international community to save Socotra from the futility of the aggression coalition

The Executive Director of the Tourism Promotion Board, Muhammad Al-Mansour, has appealed to the international community, advocates, and fans of the Socotra Archipelago, to conserve the archipelago and tampering with the vital system from the aggression’s alliance.

Al-Mansour condemned the continued international silence regarding the sabotage and destruction of the archipelago by the Aggression Coalition, calling for stopping these acts as soon as possible.

He pointed out that the loss of Yemen and the world would be huge, especially as the forces of aggression destroy the ecosystem and vitality of Socotra, which has global natural value that is unequaled anywhere in the world, nor for its unique tourist content and product.

And he demanded people of Socotra to realize the extent of the dangerous acts of sabotage carried out by the aggression, which endeavor to remove Socotra from the World Heritage List.

And he has repeated the call to the international community and concerned international organizations to take responsibility and work to stop the works of aggression and occupation on the island of Socotra, considering these acts as actions inconsistent with international laws, norms, and conventions for the preservation and protection of areas of global natural value as they are the legacy of all humanity.
